GANGES
Ganges an expression of India, India, an expression of self
India derives a part of her identity from Ganges, she has bred not only prosperity but also art and culture on its banks and beyond. Ganges is not just a physical phenomenon. It is also a cultural symbol, a religious implement, a scientific wonder, and an embodiment of faith.
The event “GANGES” shall explore how the river has contributed to the formation of character of the societies that it has nourished and also what role it may play in shaping the minds of peoples of India in future.
